Bamboo cane sill assembly

On the outskirts of Madrid, the bio-construction company Econhouse has recently built a green house with a structure and walls made of compressed straw panels. We supply bamboo reeds for the reinforcement of the lime and cement bastard concrete screed.

The rods, open lengthwise to ensure perfect adhesion with the mortar, represent an optimal ecological alternative to the classic steel rod reinforcement, especially when using lime mortars in the formwork, where we have an excellent performance without corrosion problems (and with natural materials), fully complying with the philosophy of the company.
