Preservative treatment at source by immersion in a borax saline solution: protection against wood-boring insects (+ fire-retardant properties).
Particularly suitable for the construction of external cladding.

Lightweight structures, cladding, shading, fencing, room dividers, false ceilings.
Installation
To prevent moisture absorption by capillary action, we recommend avoiding burying the bamboo canes in damp soil.
You can lay a drainage layer of stones or similar material to allow water to flow without becoming stagnant.
Care and maintenance
Routine cleaning
Dust and surface dirt: use a damp cloth or soft brush with soap or degreaser.
Stains or deep cleaning: Pressure washing.
Long-term maintenance
Optional treatment: Apply bamboo oil or natural wax (enhances shine and durability)
Natural product
No two canes are exactly alike (natural variations in shape, straightness, taper and colour tone)
Exposure to UV rays causes gradual discolouration to grey/silver (see ‘Care and maintenance’ section)
May expand or contract slightly with changes in humidity/temperature (like wood)
Small surface cracks may appear (especially during the first year of installation)
These cracks are purely cosmetic (they do not compromise the structure), and are part of the natural acclimatisation process, especially outdoors
Technical note: These characteristics are inherent properties of bamboo, not manufacturing defects..

Returns of cut materials or items that have been machined are not accepted.

Upon receiving your order, check the packaging before the delivery driver completes the delivery. If anything is not in perfect condition, note this when signing (for example: “damaged parcel” or “packaging in poor condition”) or ask them to note it on their device.
If you are unable to carry out this check at the time of delivery, you can note “contents to be checked” on the carrier’s copy and notify us of any issues you find within the following 24 hours.
