No two canes are exactly alike (natural variations in shape, straightness, taper and colour).
Exposure to UV rays causes gradual discolouration to a grey/silver hue (see the ‘Care and Maintenance’ section).
They may expand or contract slightly with changes in humidity/temperature (like wood).
Small surface cracks may appear (especially during the first year after installation).
These cracks are purely cosmetic (they do not compromise the structure), and are part of the natural acclimatisation process, especially outdoors.
